| This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious. The rooms are clean.The staff is friendly and courteous and responded to any requested promptly. The restaurant on the hotel site is clean and the prices are reasonable. The hotel lobby is designed beautifully and accents the tropical beauty of the location. Over all, this is a hotel to which I would readily return. |

| WE were a wedding party of 11 people and had 6 rooms. and all loved the hotel and resort. Ver picturesque. Great breakfast overlooking the beach and pool! Entertainment several nites with a pretty indoor outdoor bar area. Beautiful bungalows. Loved the gardens. Staff helpful. Near elephant camp and tours. Re;laxing and great escape from frnetic Bangkok. Stayed 3 nites and wanted to stay longer. Will go back! |

| It is suitable for the travellers who would like to have a relax holiday, because traffic is a problem to this resort. We could not easily find a tuktuk and it is not near the bus station (night bazzaar). If travellers consider traffic so much, it's not suitable for them. Hotel Restaurant is good and price is affordable. Comparing restaurant outside, it is just 5-10% more except dessert and drink. |

| Just a bit outside city center but yet close enough for walking there. The nearby old airstrip can give you a very nice morning walk. In the lobby you can relax, and do your work in private. The restaurant have a wide selection on the menu. I tried some of the salads and they were delicious. The front desk can assist you in renting a car or scooter. You have your own spacious cottage in the "jungle". Very nice pool area. Just a little bit cold in the water though. |

| this hotel gives a good value for your money. Nice and clean rooms a very nice garden and poolarea beatyful fowers well taken care of. The staf in the lobby takes good care of you and are very helpful, the do everything they can to satiesfy you and your wishes. I will realy recomend the Laguna hotel |

| We visited this hotel for the second time in two years and it has added a fine restaurant and the breakfast is now excellent, much better than before. |

| it looks like a lot of the reviews for this hotel are mixed. i can understand why. a lot of fair points. i have stayed at laluna 3 different times. it has its good points, and its bad points- of which mainly that it is a hotel managed to thai standards not western standards. as a longtime thailand resident, the things that might put off some western tourists dont irk me (as much). what i mean by that is that the lackluster breakfast, the indifferent staff, and location not exactly in center of town are not an issue if youve lived here long enough-as i would go to an outside favorite breakfast place, dont need much by way of staff, and usually have a car with me to reach the center of town. in fact i actually love the location as its a quieter area than town (which isnt actually that far away, but not quite walkable) and there is adequate parking. on the plus side, it does have great amount of trees plants and flowers and feels clean and green. i love the pool. its very big and nice style. the bungalows are arranged around it and its nice to open up to the pool. the rooms (inside) themself arent anything spectacular, just ok, they are big, but somewhat dark. the tinted windows not for me. yes in the winter its cold- but not quite the resorts fault! what else,,, the entrance is pretty. the staff, like i said not that friendly. breakfast just mediocre. |

My husband and I stayed at the Laluna hotel on the 4th night of a great jeep trip through northern Thailand. The hotel was booked by the company through which we booked the tour, as were all the other hotels on the tour.
Apart from the 1st night in Chiang Mai, the other hotels were rather basic, so this one was actually a pleasant surprise.
The open lobby looks very nice, although during the winter it can be pretty cold, and the bar was really cold in the evening. The atmosphere is lovely, with the one-story cabins, and lots of green trees and lawns. The pool looks beautiful, but we weren't there long enough to try it out.
The rooms were big, but as others have said, rather dark. The food at the bar was reasonable, and I don't remember much about the breakfast, so I assume it was just ok. |
