of town and far from anything else, no body seemed to know where it was.
Pretty location on the river. We stayed in one of the upstairs deluxe rooms with a great view over the river. Comfortable bed and clean. Room overpriced.
Buffet breakfast was ordinary. This hotel caters better for the Thais. The female manager was the only one who could speak English, everyone else seemed to be unhelpful, especially overnight staff. Transport was organised by the hotel, our young driver could speak english well, better than anyone else we met in Kanchanaburi, so we insisted on hiring him for a few day trips including the floating markets which is about 2hrs away. We also organised a taxi to drive a fast 45min to the Tiger Temple. |

This hotel is beautiful.
The staff are friendly and helpful and very sweet.
The food in the restaurant was delicious (maybe a little expensive). We stayed in a room on the 1st floor overlooking the river kwai -it was beautiful.
There are lots of insects and gekos around in the evening though -due to being right next to the river.
We had a lovely stay. The only drawback was its quite a way out of town and its 200BHT every time you go in or out of town, which soon mounts up if you are on a budget. The staff were only too happy to help you sort out taxis etc and offer advice on which attractions to see.
If the cost of going in and out of town doesn't bother you, then i would definately recommend this hotel, its the best in Kanchanburi. If your not staying very long or you're on a budget, stay in the town. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay here and if returning to Kanchanaburi would stay at this facility again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was quiet. Had dinner at their riverside restaurant one night at sunset and it was beautiful. We had our own car so didn't encounter any problems with transportation even though the place is about 15 minutes from the city center. On Saturday they had a young student playing the Kihm (like a dulcimer) while we had breakfast.
On the negative side the bathroom was beginning to show a need for maintenance but ample hot water and fine AC. Paid the rate shown on the Internet at the time ($43). |

| I really enjoyed staying here, although it is definitely quiet and secluded, so if you want a lively place with lots of people this is not it! But if you want an idyllic retreat just outside of Bangkok, this is a great choice! |

| A great hotel with an attractive location along the banks of the river. A five-minute drive from town and the bridge - not too far for a visit into town and far enough to enjoy the peaceful and tranquil location. Great staff who were most helpful! |

| We arrived to find we had 2 single beds instead of the 1 double we had booked as there were no doubles available the staff were very quick to rectify the problem by remaking the singles into a double.The resort itself is beautiful and very quiet. The food in the resturant was fantastic.The biggest problem is that it is in the middle of nowhere and transport was non existant. |
