| The staff was exellent, although there was too many mosiquitos because of the mangroves. The breakfast was excellent and so the service. The beach was nice and clean and so was the pool. It was good for children. I would not stay again beacaus of the mosqutos but that depends on if you stay in the more expensive parts I dont think that there are any of them. |

| Near to the beach, silent place as it is secluded from a busy white beach yet the shower/restroom is obsolete (old and dirty). Staff arent friendly and accomodating. Basic room service were not completely provided. towels and etc. The value of money is not worth to the quality of stay. |

OK, place. Had two of the small rooms who was the cheapiest one. Was in the back of the place and they were OK but not more. The breakfast was good with a good choice of food on the bufe. Nice pool and a very good restaurant with nice prices.
Very expensive for walkins, so book with a travelagency, and you will save half the bill. |

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Klong Prao for 6 days in xmas.
We where met with nothing but smiles from the staff, they had even upgraded our room to beach view and decorated the room very beautiful with flowers. I had asked them if they could do this for me, and they did at no charge!
There is one trick about traveling in Thailand that meny euorpeans don`t care for, be polite! If you come inside reception and just "bla bla bla bla", no one wants to help you.
Take your time, smile and say "Sawadee-Kap" if you are man or Sawadee-Ka" if you are woman.
Then everything is much easier :-).
Good breakfast, restaurant really ok, but nicer further down the beach.
The resort is a little remote, but so does it say on their homepage. This should not be a surprice for anyone.
I will highly recommend the hotel for anyone who wants to relax with family, or girlfriend. Not for people who want to go party, then White Sand is for you...
We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going back in April 2009, but this time we bring 2 children. |
