Spent a week in this resort after having to rebook quickly after losing our original booking in Sept 2006 coup de tat confusion.
Was pleasantly surprised by accomodation. Hotel room was spacious with balcony and water glimpses. The rooms are not the youngest but clean. Bungalows looked pretty good.
Staff were friendly, except the waiting staff at breakfast were not attentive at times, depending if the manager was around.
Cons: a bit out of the way & cuisine in the restaurants outside the resort quite ordinary. One good restaurant is a small one next to a field opposite Harry's resort (10 min walk). |

Pinnacle has spacious rooms with nice balcony. Rooms are not exactly the newest, but well kept.
One major disadvantage: showering is like standing under a few drops of water dripping from the showerhead, the waterspray has no power at all.
The staff is friendly, although most of them hardly speak English. However, this is a common problem in Thailand and specifically in Samui. The hotel manager did speak English!
The beachfront looks very good and is a perfect place to just relax. Consider taking something like watershoes with you, cause walking on the beach barefooted is quite painfull.
The Pinnacle is about a 10 min. walk away from the main road. This means almost no taxi's stop at the hotel. The hotel has own taxis, but these are more expensive. And again, the taxidrivers barely speak English. |

| Hotel in central location in the bungalows is uphill. Breakfast not so good. Disadvantage: a long way to the beach, this beautiful prospects. Beautiful balconies at each bungalow. Language: English. At the reception is very friendly uses. A rather quiet accommodation; quality is very good. The path to the top (the hotel is situated on a hill / mountain) in the heat is quite burdensome. Bungalows very well equipped. |

| Excellent vehicle hire just across the road. Several good restuarants within easy walking distance. The only beach as good we saw was at a very luxurious resort eight times the price! |

| We had a very relaxing stay at Pinnacle Samui Resort & Spa - just what we needed after exploring temples in Cambodia. The bungalows were lovely to come back to in the evening and there was everything we needed by the beach. The beach is just a short stroll through the hotel's grounds and is empty of people other than hotel guest and those from the hotels on either side - you have the place to yourself. |

| I think the Pinnacle is a place to go if you are looking for a bargain, but know that you get what you pay for. The staff were nice and the beach next to the resort is also pretty good. But the resort is a bit out of the ways, and the room had a number of bugs crawling inside it. Next time, I think I'd rather spend some extra money and stay somewhere cleaner and without bugs! |

| The resort is under German management. We liked that the manager was very keen to implement all suggestions (of course only those that made sense). So we were asking for selling fresh fruit juices at the restaurant - and next day there was a fruit blender there. You also enjoy W-Lan at every place in the resort - and seafood buffet is excellent. We will go back - and I was there with three friends, who all agreed it is a good place to stay for those with a small budget and a sense for Thai life and European management. |

| In the middle of the night our a/c burst and we had to switch rooms. The front desk people were a little grumpy. All and all, wasn't my favorite place. |
