| Nice hotel overall, considering we are quite plucky customer. Negative 1: breakfast, food quite tasty but almost the same everyday.... been to a lot of hotels in the world but this hotel really offer the most limited nos of items i ever seen. Negative 2: no lift, our room on level 4, so imagine have to climb all the way up after a tired day, also very inconvenient for handicap. Negative 3: Swimming pool pretty tiny as compare to Pakasai(beside the hotel). Negative 4: Super hard bed, im used to sleeping on firm matteress but the hotel bed is even too hard for me to get used to. Positive 1: Nice view and unique theme, overlook the Adaman Sea, room pretty clean. Positive 2: Good location, on a low slope, jus 5 mins walk to shops, massage and seafood restaurant. Positive 3: Free internet, pool table and DVD movie, also the only 3 star hotel in Thailand which have Sony TV and DVD player. Good bargain for the price and service provided. Will surely consider staying there again if on budget again. |

| This is our second stay at Alis and we did not find the experience as pleasant as the first stay. Although the breakfast spread has improved, I must say the counter service has not. When I asked the counter staff whether she could help us to extend the check out time (our flight was at 9pm plus), what we received was a blunt and curt reply "No". The service was not as warm as before, with the exception of the bell boys. Furthermore, there were lots of mosquitos around the lobby, video hall and even in our room. |

| Stay: 3 nights Club Room: 25 Positive: This Club Room is spacious. Seaview from bedroom and upstairs open-air tub. Bathroom is big enough for 2. We ordered room service and the pineapple rice was delicious. On the whole, the Staff were eager to please. Negative: Quite a few mosquitoes in the room. Open-air tub was slimey and green with moss, when we requested they clean it, slight improvement but they were nice enough to leave bubble bath for us. The king size bed is actually made up of 2 iron-wrought beds joined together. One bed kept creaking the whole night. Only 2 of the staff can speak and comprehend English proficiently. The buffet breakfast isn't great. Overall: It is a small, intimate hotel suitable for couples. The lack of a lift makes it unsuitable for seniors. No facilities for children. It is a good location if you prefer staying close to the hustle n bustle of Ao Nang, but still want some peace. The beach is quite a distance away. So be prepared to take day trips out. |

Overall a good hotel to stay in. Location is good, just a 5 minute walk away from the Ao Nang main sea-front. Nice architectural touches, looks vaguely moroccan rather than the typical thai resort. Has free internet in the lobby. Club rooms have an outdoor bath an open terrace. Pool table in the lobby and infinity swimming pool on the 2nd floor. DVD player is provided in club rooms
Negatives - TV in room has only local Thai television stations, breakfast food is so-so, no sea view. |

| I stayed at the Alis hotel with my partner and we loved it. Perfect location and really friendly staff. The rooms were clean, modern and just all round perfect. The pool is also lovely and it's a short walk away from some lovely restaurants, bars and shops. |

| I went to Krabi with my partner and had stayed at Alis Hotel. It was small but lovely! I love the bathroom great design and functionable. Small swimming pool was really romantic at night and the distance from the beach to hotel was just 5 mins walk!! |

We just returned from Krabi yesterday! It was a wonderful holiday with staying in Alis Hotel. First, we would like to thank Alis hotel to FREE Update our room to Romance Club Room for us upon arrival. We were so excited when the receptionist told us about that because their superior room was full house so they gave us FREE for Romance Club Room!
The Club room was absolutely nice and comfortable. It look like Penth house design. We have private open air balcony space with wooden bath tub on the upper floor. And it has a King size and single bed in the room. There are well furnished with every items such as umbrella, picnic bag, 29" TV, DVD player, mini bar, coffee & tea facilities ... So, you don't worry if you forgot to bring any of those items. Somemore, when we returned from outside every night, we still can enjoy internet surfing at lobby OR watching DVD movie which borrow from the reception. It's FREE and variety of choices. You won't feel boring everynight!
Well, the breakfast is average. Not too much choice. Everyday have bread & jam, Coco crunch, friend mee, ham & sausage, porridge, fruits, yogurt, fried omelet upon order. For us as vegetarian, it consider "healthy breakfast"!!!
For the location, it is very convenient for us to spend 15 minutes to walk through the street for shopping, dinner, massage and etc. There are a lot of massage house, restaurants, money changer service, Tuk-tuk, travel counter along the street. |
