| I would like to commend AsiaRooms booking service for the ease it made booking a room at the Front village hotel Phuket. The Front village hotel was a delight to stay at, being good value for money and having excellent service. The location was great with easy access to both the beach and shops. The ambiance of the hotel is beautiful with lush gardens and an inviting pool area. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with great veiws from the top floor of Karon beach. Breakfast was sumptious every day with a wide variety to choose from, suiting all cultural needs. The other meals we had there were also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although language was a barrier at times, we found with patience and smiles on both sides all our needs were met promptly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on any budget. My only concern is that they have the felt on the pool table repaired along with some new pool cues before our next visit in July 2008 because we will certainly be staying there again. |

| Bathroom plumbing was bad as water was leaking onto floor. TV wasnt working for 2 days. No Free Internet (wifi). Room smelt of cigarettes and had requested non-smoking room. Nice pool and excellent breakfast but have stayed in much cheaper accomomodation that have better service and free internet. |

| Hotel very clean and staff very friendly. Did ask for a room with a view of the ocean, didnt get that, got a room facing the ocean with palm trees right in front, and I mean right in front, the branches were touching the railing so that was very disappointing. On the net was advertised with a shuttle bus to a shopping centre, this was not available so had to use taxi, very inconvinient and wasnt expecting this extra expense. Nice quiet position and within walking distance to beach so ideal for someone wanting a quiet getaway. Breakfast 10/10 |

| I would just like to say that the Front Village is wonderful. The staff were all so kind and very helpful. The room we had was the Deluxe Pool side and had its own balcony that led to the pool. And what a great pool it is. I would recomend spending the extra few dollors a night to get one of the pool rooms it is worth it. The breakfest buffet is wonderful and filling. There were more then your advarge choices to choose from. There was Thai and International foods along with a large bread, cereal, and fruit choices. The only complent I had and its more of a personal thing then anything else is that the bed was a little to hard for my taste. But I find that in a lot of hotels so it really is more me then the hotel. Also there is a really great up-scale spa around the corner called Mind and Body spa its right near the 7/11 and its fab. Its more pricey then other "spa" but nothing compared to the price in other countrys. |

| I had booked our February 2008 stay at Front Village back in mid-2007, based upon the hotel’s overall rating here on TA. At that time, there were no separate listings for Front Village and its adjacent sister hotel (The Village Resort). I am glad to see that each of these hotels is now listed separately, as there is a vast difference in quality between the two. Since Front Village had rated 4 out of 5 stars, I was probably more disappointed due to my high expectations than in the hotel itself. On its own, without factoring in the reviews for The Village, I believe that the Front Village is a 2.5 star facility (garnering the extra half star for the nice staff). |
